Climate Tech Startups & Funding

•Carbontech Development Initiative (CDI) launched its fourth funding round, offering grants for projects in CO₂ capture, CO₂-to-building materials, and CO₂-to-chemicals/fuels. The initiative supports both academic and commercial ventures, with applications open until January 14, 2026. Since inception, CDI has awarded over $8 million to 39 teams, positioning New York as a global hub for carbontech innovation.

•Dexmat, a carbon nanotube startup, was named Trellis Climate Tech Startup of 2025.
